This installation dedicated to the Warsaw Uprising has a symbolic meaning. The inspiration for creating the series was the awareness of the inexorability of the laws ruling time. The series commemorates an anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. It is an artistic reference to the unique historical occurrence of the struggle and martyrdom of the Polish nation. The artworks are devoted to the soldiers and the inhabitants of Warsaw who survived or were savagely murdered. On the one hand, the graphics present the dynamics of fighting, strictly assigned to places, on the other hand they show the timeless problem of cruelty of mankind.
Human memory is unreliable. The uprising and tragedy of Warsaw will always be a present warning. It must be remembered, it should remind us of humanistic values that are often endangered. Subsequent post-war generations have access to materials describing the conditions in insurgent Warsaw. They can analyze documentation, in the form of personal stories, diaries, scientific studies, iconographic studies, drawings, photographs and documentary films. People have an opportunity to realize the magnitude of losses. 'For the unbreakable' is a synthetic and brief metaphor informing about the tragic price of the Warsaw Uprising. The instalation leaves the viewers space for their own imagination.
