Betliny
The artworks called 'Betliny' are unique portraits. They were created in the author's innovative technique, in which the artist uses elements of popular techniques from the mid-nineteenth century – called 'biochromate gum'. This allows her to be set free from a pervasive 'speed obsession'. The portraits are created by covering a multi-layer pigment and gradual fixation.
